Turnersee Bird Park

Parakeets, parrots, amazones, macaws, cockatoos, birds of prey, pheasants, ducks, toucans - enjoy the tremendous diversity of species in the Turnersee Bird Park! There are more than 1,000 animals and about 340 species in this park, which is very accessible also for families with buggies or for wheelchair users. Birds from all over the world seem to enjoy the area around Lake Turnersee a lot, because of the high reproduction rate. The team in the park is especially proud of some first-time reproductions in captivity. There are also tame birds that gladly walk on your arm or take food from your hands!

Animals for stroking. An attached stroking zoo makes the bird park particularly interesting for families with children. The dwarf goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ponies or alpacas let themselves be stroked and may be fed by hand. Some parents have trouble getting their kids back out of the stroking zoo.
