Lake Gösselsdorfer See
Lake Gösselsdorfer See is the second largest nature lake of this region. It is situated in landscape conservation area. The water has a tannine-like brownish colour. A wide reed belt, lily fields and lots of underwater plants provide for covering and food for trophy-sized carps, which are being caught regularly in this lake. Because of the shallow water and the fast warming-up in spring, the fish grow fast and strong. Therefore also the natural reproduction of the carps is strong. Predatory fish species such as Northern pike and catfish are also abundant.
