Lake Kleinsee

Lake Kleinsee is one of the top sport fishing destinations in Austria. The reedy and undercut shores as well as the 20 to 40 m lily fields offer excellent shelters for game fish of many species. Therefore the food chain is fully intact, so that fish of all species grow fast. The stocking program is very selective and sensitive. Northern pike, catfish, carp and largemouth bass (a tremendous challenge on the fly rod!) are the most abundant species, but others are strongly represented as well.

Beautiful wooden boats especially for fishermen can be rented. There are also enough places to fish comfortably from the shore. Lake Kleinsee is a real treasure for the avid sport fishermen who honour a good fishery.
