Landgasthof Piroutz, Lake Turnersee

The family-friendly country inn Piroutz is situated on the beautiful South bay of Lake Turnersee. The inn offers more then enough space for the whole family and our beach at the lake is just a a few walking minutes from the house. Both the Lake Turnersee and the Lake Klopeiner See belong not only to the warmest bathing lakes of Austria, but are also excellent fishing lakes. A hike to Mt. Georgiberg, or tour on the Mt. Hochobir, a bicycle ride along the river Drau or one of the numerous cultural events – there is something nice for everyone here in Southern Carinthia. Or perhaps you want to learn how to play golf? The Golfpark Klopeiner See is conveniently close and offers trial lessons for beginners.

Explore Swamp Nature!
The Sablatnigmoor swamp-park is very close to our inn and a fantastic nature- experience for the whole family. Along the “Natura Trail" attentive hikers will see the moor frog, the kingfisher or another one of 1,700 animal and 320 plant species.
